About:: * CREATING MANDALAS * I have spent many years of my life creating mandalas, starting in 1970 with oilpaints, and with indian-ink in 1975. In the summer of 2003 I started using colorpencils as well. I experience mandala making as a way of centering oneself. The concentration which is needed is like a training of the mind, learning how to focus one's attention on the here and now. I experience this as a form of meditation, a way of reaching inner peace and balance. My work is inspired on the sacred geometric art found in many cultures. ******* Let there be Peace and Harmony.
