The Elk that once used this skull was poached for his Antlers, and left to rot... Pazyrryk and I collaborated on this relic with an intent of paying respects to the Elk by restoring the antlers with scavenged recycled copper wire.
Vesa @copperweaver This is great. I have taught in First Nations schools, University & high school, prior & have been emmersed in their culture in N.W. Ontario. What I see here reminds me of real 'original art' of most native peoples, paying respect to nature; connecting such art constructivism to the spirit world, giving it 'closure'.

Vesa @copperweaver You must be looking for buriel pieces of ancient Greece, (lol). Really like this piece alot. I'm not one for crazy about much of the Ojibway/Cree Woodl style of prints or paintings, -too mannered from the innovators. I love constructivism. Take care amigo. Have a great time and I'm sure you will in that area. -Vesa.
