copperweaver I revived cardboard strips as my material for the object afterlife challenge. I had a lots of fun exploring the material and the structural properties of the cardboard strips. At first it was difficult to let loose but once I let go of my bias against ephemeral materials I made lots of discoveries and had a lot of fun.

copperweaver ~Dissolution~ a few days later, it has rained and the cardboard seems to be weaving itself into the duff...... the cardboard weaving has experienced approximately 2 weeks of weather.
copperweaver -Dissolution- This is a weaving I did with cardboard strips left over from the Object Afterlife Art Challenge. I want to document and witness the dissolution and decay of the cardboard weaving over time. The weaving has probably been in the elements for over a week when this image was taken.
copperweaver The Elk that once used this skull was poached for his Antlers, and left to rot... Pazyrryk and I collaborated on this relic with an intent of paying respects to the Elk by restoring the antlers with scavenged recycled copper wire.
